Question 1: Women Leading Prayers in Jamat Khanah:
In this lesson, we have attempted to simplify the answer to Question 1: Why Do Women Sometimes Lead Prayers in Jamat Khana While There Is No Such Precedent in Shariat?, in a very simple way for youth, in which Islam is resembled to a straight path that has four stages: Shariat, Tariqat, Haqiqat, and Ma’rifat. It is discussed that at the stage of Shariat, where everything is related to the exoteric aspect of religion, the Prophet (PBUH) is in the position of Man, and all other individuals in terms of seeking divine guidance are in the position of women. In this sense, at the level of Shariat, women are not allowed to lead prayers. Where it progresses onwards to Tariqat and Haqiqat, there are matters that are never seen or observed in the Shariat stage, like so many rituals of Sufism that are not found in Shariat. The rites and ceremonies in the Jamat Khana are at the level of Haqiqat, where men and women are equal as they have the same soul and intellect and are equal in performing religious duties. So, a woman leading prayer in Jamat Khana is the sign of equality and the spiritual status of all men and women, which is the same.
